Negotiation in new offer: I’m moving from fully remote to fully in office (with chance of hybrid later) offer for associate director in quality in pharma for 170k base, 18% bonus and 75k equity. Hello everyone. I am looking to transition into the medical writing field, but I don’t seem to have the right type of experience. I have technical writing experience, but I don’t have experience with clinical studies or clinical trials. Does anyone have any advice on how I can gain more experience in this field? I am pursuing the AMWA Essential Skills certificate and am working on a master degree, but any other information would be greatly appreciated!

Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?
