Thank god we have memes, or maybe not

This may not be the best forum for it but thought I’d give it a try!
Selling 2 tickets to SIX, the musical for Wed, 05/25 at 7:30 pm. Great seats in Row C of Dress Circle Center. Had to go out of town for work and can’t make the show.
Originally paid $116 each (including taxes and fees). Willing to sell both for $200 or the best offer.

Do I have to spell it out?

When I was on contract I didn’t disclose until I was 7 months in, after I got transferred to perm. You just have to do what’s best for your situation.
Feel like it depends on so many things. If a raise is almost guaranteed, like in big law on the associate track, I’d say yes disclose to protect yourself from not getting it for some BS reason (and I did this past year). If it’s based more on forward-looking criteria, I’d probably say not to disclose.

Thanks, A1!
We are pretty much in the same boat 😊. First, congrats. I am 14 weeks today and we are in performance review season and will not be done till likely April. I feel guilty for not telling, but I have been waiting for this promotion for so long + the salary bump. I plan to not tell until it’s finalized, and it’s winter so I can dress to cover because I am 5days in-office. However, I am also playing it by ear; just incase it becomes difficult to hide. But I have been burned by this system before; not again.
Harmful unless you're not making your hours and need an accomodation but truly I'd disclose afterwards.
Literally in the same boat. 15 weeks and we should be getting comp info this week. I’m waiting until I have that in hand to disclose just because I don’t want anything to taint those conversations. Look and see what your company policy is on notice ahead of leave. Ours technically only requires 30 days notice.
