Do your managers actually investigate complaints before calling you in? Mine seem to take every family frustration at face value. Today I got written up because a patient said I "ignored them" - I was literally in another room doing CPR. The lack of support is killing me. How do you protect yourself from unfair complaints?

Did you retrieve a copy of the code sheet to show where you were? If you have not done so. Please get a copy and take it to HR. You are being set up or she is highly incompetent

Rarely. I’d rather be called in and talk about it first. However, it’s up to the manager to make the final call on those complaints being made.

Oh yeah, the patient is always right in my clinic. Even when the patient is very, very wrong or was actually incredibly rude, disrespectful, or even outright cruel. And it always seems like the worse we're treated, the more likely they are to complain (and management takes their word as gospel). It's disheartening.

Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case. Trials are rare, and I just don’t think these guys have actually tried many cases. Cont. below…

Hi Fishes,
I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
