Too much extraction on your face is no bueno.
This is what I do. I get hydrafacials every 2-3 months and do at home facials monthly.
Honestly feel like it's better to pay for a hydrafacial a month versus trying to get all these fancy things...I don't trust these home tools!

I have the vanity planet steamer and microdermabrasion wand and I love them! It’s always discounted with influencer codes too, you can probably search Google for one.

I only use the dermabrasion wand on my nose for blackheads/sebaceous filament. You definitely have to be mindful with it but it has suction settings to make it easy.
I dermaroll every 6 weeks right now, besides that face yoga because there is no face gym nearby
Yes funny face stretches that help me relax and release tension in my jaw and eyebrows. Also Gua Sha is a wonderful practice
I just steam my face with a bowl of hot water and cover my head with a towel to keep the steam in. I then go ahead and exfoliate with honey and sugar and rinse it off with the same hot water but i add cold water to make it warmer.
Oh man. What a good reminder to do this again. I did a skincare workshop years ago and this with dried rose petals was what they recommended. The rose has some antibacterial properties and also just smelled really nice. But make sure they’re all natural and not dried with any chemicals!
I would recommend it since it saves me a lot of money, but not time. It gets a little time consuming, but thankfully we only ever have to do it once every few weeks or once a month. I do it on my days off.
I'm too scared to do the extractions myself, and I just don't trust myself to not mess up my skin somehow. I just go to the professionals for dermaplaning.
The closest I can get to having a regular skincare procedure aside from my everyday routine is massaging my face with a face oil and gua sha from Sacheu Beauty. I leave the facials for myspa trips.
I'm too skeptical of hone tools and I feel like I can't get the most out of them since I probably wouldn't be using them properly for the first few times. I'd rather get it done for me.
I love sitting in front of my Dennis Gross facial steamer to prep my skin for a nice clay mask. I just feel like it works better that way and it's less drying.
I have a routine that can help with extracting the bad stuff from your face. Just take a hot shower then clean your face with a mild soap or facial wash, then before you end turn the cold water up so that your pores close. That is as good as a facial really if you don't have a facial steamer.
Thinking about investing in a facial steamer as well. I always loved how my skin felt after steaming. Just feel so soft and new.
Extracting gunk from my pores makes me anxious! I tend to overdo it. I once forced a blackhead to come out and it just left marks on my face. I'm never doing it again.
I do. I just purchased a kit from Good Fortune. I just love that they have skincare kits for all skin types. I use their oily-normal skincare set. Here's a link https://www.goodfortunesoap.com/skin-care-set-oily-normal/
Thought of doing my own facials at home too. It's more convenient and I get to tailor it to my skin because who knows our skin better than ourselves.
I'd love to. But the clinic's just a few blocks away from our house. Doing it on my own makes me nervous since my skin is very sensitive and acne prone :(
