Does anyone else get nervous before every Single weekly or biweekly check in 1:1 with your manager, even when you are doing well at your job and have a good relationship with your manager? For some reason, I always feel very anxious right before, even though it goes fine every time. Almost like a pit in stomach feeling for no reason….its like I’m expecting the worst to happen or something bad to happen or to receive bad feedback.

I'm looking for front-end web design work, and work from home. I am a strong designer and basically set up landing pages for large companies on a proprietary CMS in our company. Tough time getting past final step: I’ve been trying to make a career shift for 10 months now and continue to get rejected at the last step. Im confident in the value I can provide and do well at presenting it. However, once it’s comes down to me and 1-2 other candidates, I repeatedly have been turned down for the person who has more relevant experience as they’re a safer bet for the employer.
