Does anyone have any recommendations for career coaches for new grads? Have 1YOE in tech consulting but having a really hard time finding a new job in the industry. Would really like some guidance on next steps and how to plan my career long term.

Hello. I am new and I wanted to get some advice.

I don’t really know what to do as a career or anything anymore. I’ve been trying to find part time work for the time being. I feel like I have 0 skills when I try to look for work. I currently do freelance art. I enjoy it, but I don’t make enough yet. I previously did IT work— but became burnt out and have been out of the field for ~3 years. I am trying to learn programming, but for myself—not job ready.

Is it worth making the time/money investment to make the switch from big 4 FDD to MBB. This would require getting into and paying for a top MBA program and my net worth would be way negative after that. Are the MBB financial returns worth it? Im 26 years old for reference

but I want to work in (Full Stack) Java development I have learned spring boot, angular, rest API, AWS CI/CD pipeline and I have good knowledge of core java, collections.

Will it be a good decision to directly get a job as an experienced candidate by telling I have experience in Java(2 years)

or

I shouldn't lie about my prior experience with SAP BASIS.

I've done a lot of self-work this year re: where I've been most successful and fulfilled over my last ten years.. I'm 32 and have been in sales, sales leadership, and business leadership (I've been a ceo and am currently head of sales at a start up).

All that said, I'm looking for some words of wisdom on how to pivot to sales ops, Rev ops, or GTM strategy. The latter probably being my preference.

The Job requirement says its Entry Level, but the experience it requires is always 6 year+... like how would a fresher match that.. should I've started coding at 6th grade or what?

At what point in your career do you think you find out if you are actually on the partner track or not? For reference, I just got promoted to manager and get lots of talks about “things I should do as I continue to progress through the firm”, but I wasn’t sure when or if this is communicated to people in more certain terms. Maybe looking at the number of years it takes to get promoted from M to SM could be a good indicator?

I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?
