Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

I've previously asked this question and didn't get any replies. What are your hobbies/passions? Can you make a business out of them? How about marrying your art & IT into graphic/UX design?
Well, currently my hobbies are just drawing, and that has become a job as well. I decided to do commissions online for art. I never had any interest in UX or Graphic design. I do illustrations/anime drawings basically. lol. I don’t really know much about it neither.
I don’t really have professional portfolio tier pictures to show to get an art job. What I do brings in some money, but not enough to save and stuff. To be honest, It’s not really enough to live lol.
For IT, I am TRYING my best to get over the whole “burnt out” part. I still feel some resentment towards it. The routes for IT at the moment don’t interest me, and there really isn’t any part time jobs for IT.
I only want part time for now, but I do hope I can find something. I think the only thing I can kinda do is Excel. I am no pro, but I know some basic functions and stuff. And I think I can learn how to do pivot tables…
I'd say the above comment is correct. UI is a great field and I see my colleagues in that team in my company combine art and business to great interfaces.
Maybe try doing the art fair circuit this summer with your originals and prints?
Maybe try a warehouse job that pays a decent wage; work that is just for the money so you can save for your future, as well as for your art.
