I’ve been working in public accounting (audit) for a year and I don’t enjoy the work and don’t see myself in this position for much longer. I’ve been thinking about going into marketing but stuck on how to get started. I know I have no prior experience, but since I’m early in my career and with taking some courses/certifications (Google analytics, SEO, etc.) to boost my resume, I’m hoping to make the switch. Any advice on where to start, what type of marketing positions I would align with, etc?

I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. Qualified Dividends: I’m expecting $650-$750 qualified dividend in 2021. Salary and base about $250 total. Questions: what tax rate will the qualified dividend be taxed at? The 15% or 20%? My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?
