I have a SM grade level with 13 years of experience as an IT Architect. I have joined Cognizant 3 years ago and my current salary is at 85k which is not that attractive to me. So I am thinking of leaving Cognizant as an Employee and keep my engagement as a Freelancer. Knowing that I have a good blueprint at my Practice. Been rated at 5 last year, and contributing in several projects which generates a good revenue for the practice.
What’s your view on the Freelance switch ? Cognizant will accept?

I have approx. 2 years of experience, and I’m being offered a base salary of $85,000. Would it be realistic/fair to negotiate to $90,000, or is that asking for too much? Any thoughts?

In PowerBi, I'd like to filter/scale a selection of data , but leave the rest of the data unchanged. How can I do that?

I have a sliding scale that allows me to change the scale from 2-5. If I change the scale to 2, all the data is multiplied by 2. Is there a way to isolate one color and only apply the scale to that, and leave the rest the same?

I work at a consulting firm and next year I’m hopefully going to get booked on Data analytics engagements (starting with the business intelligence segment). One AD said it would be helpful to learn Azure cloud. Where should I start with that and what are some the things I should know/ be able to do in Azure cloud? Any good recommendations reference textbook vs. online training that explains machine learning theory for a non computer science math type person. Have someone in my leadership chain kinda high up who wants a deeper understanding of ML but won’t be building real world models. I am thinking of more a guide to understand various terms thrown around like neural network, gradient boosting, F-score. something deeper than basic definitions but probably not full blown linear algebra either.
