Does anyone here have experience with taking on multiple part time roles? Right now I have 1 full time 1 part time 1 contract and was offered another part time. I usually only take on full time positions but the market is rough right now so I’m just grabbing what I can. Anyone have any tips or insights? This feels completely different than what I have been doing.

I grab anything if the pay is good, and depend on how many I already have. If you already have 1 FT , 1PT and contract then it is better to take another PT so you don't exhaust yourselves.

Is the contract 40hrs/ week?

The contract is project based. So each completed piece is equal to a certain # of hours.

After 4 years I want to leave law because of my adhd! I have been to 4 different firms and at each place I feel like I have been “found out”. At every place at least one attorney catches me about my attention to detail. I am so down on myself now. I can’t bring myself to care about small details that I know don’t actually matter. Sitting at a desk all day in word documents is the ultimate form of torture to me. My strengths are talking to people. I am super outgoing. Looking for a new career

Ok, I’m in. What are the salaries of some of the jobs you guys are doing, and the daily demands (hours and typical time of day you need to be “online”)? Are we talking working 2 90k jobs or the second job is a $35k data entry side gig?

Where there any legal issues? (The two companies area in different industries so no competition). How did you manage both? The new company knows I'm still employed, should I quit the first or keep it as long as I can manage both? Any bad vibes or feelings of unprofessionalism? TIA

I really want to get a second job but I am scared of losing my current one. Both companies are in same field, although not direct competitors so I know it’s technically “not allowed” however, this is the only way for me to get that $$ since I am not paid all that well.

Of course I won’t tell a single friend/coworker. Only my partner. And I don’t post work stuff on social media.

Realistically what are the ODDS of being caught? Is there a legal/HR process with which they could find out??
