Does anyone know of any makerspaces in Houston? There has to be something.. Most cities have some kind of club where it's basically a school-like or moreso startup-incubator to highly professional facility where people can use 3D printers, laser cutters, oscilloscopes, hopefully metal tools and the like. Some are monthly membership, some are community if they're at a school. They usually have classes too, usually have at minimum woodshop stuff and also organized workstations with typical tools

Is anyone able to shed some light on exit opportunities for process transformation/improvement consultants?

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers?
