I finished final rounds 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard back. I followed up with the hiring manager and he said he hopes to give me an update within a week. Does this mean I’m rejected or they’re still interviewing other candidates?

3 years of experience as a corporate lawyer.
Expecting an offer from both Deloitte India and Capgemini.
Deloitte India - Senior Consultant
Capgemini - Associate Consultant

Capgemini has verbally promised me 9 LPA but the offer is yet to be released.
Deloitte India has not yet communicated any offer, neither verbal nor formal.

I am more inclined towards joining Deloitte India as it is a bigger position than Capgemini.

Am I on the right track?

I’ve been dabbling with the idea of getting into copywriting as something to soon the side but I have no experience doing it. What steps should I take (books to read, gigs to start with or pursue, etc) if I want to go from $0 and next to ) experience to $40k or so a year?

Anyone working two corporate jobs at the same time? Contemplating staying at the current employer while accepting a new role until the year-end bonus (12/31). Both roles remote for a foreseeable future. Putting on average ~18 productive hours per week in a current role, so I should be able to add 30-40 more for the next few months.

What is the proper process to leave a company? Where does it begin? Who do you give your resignation letter to?

Making ~$105k in Chicago (bonus included). Looking to go to either California, NY or Boston. What is the lowest salary increase you would take? The cost of living index might not be realistic (150+ in California or NY and 120+ in Boston). I know there are a lot of factors and assumptions but just want to get a gauge / ballpark estimate from diff perspectives. (Looking for strategy and ops in big tech... for now... )

McK: Lateral move with tenure, 1 yr from EM, generalist still
A&M: Step up to Manager, PEPI (PE performance improvement)

Which do you choose and why? (And leaving comp out of the equation, if you can - A&M is immediately higher, for now)
