Is this meant to be a philosophical question or something? Of course no one really "wants" to work. We'd all rather be sitting on yachts or lounging at the beach. But since most of us don't have millions sitting in the bank, working is a necessity and preferable to homelessness, so yes, people do want to work.
They need to work. They don’t want to based on your response. Why can’t employers normalize people needing to work instead of making people lie to themselves and to them?
I suppose in a very general sense, no, nobody wants to work, we'd all rather be sitting under a tree reading a book or something. Jobs are just a fact of life. And in that context, sure, I want to work. It's driving me crazy that I'm not working enough.
Sitting under a tree sounds nice
Partially wrong. I happen to love my work. Its the act of getting ready, driving in, and driving home I hate. Traffic is horrible. The actual work I enjoy. Not everyone is in this same boat, so if you don't love your work, you probably don't want to work. IT been good to me. :-)
