Mine doesn't. If it did, it would almost certainly be worth the cost for me, at least last year. My German shepherd tore his ACL last February, and the surgery to repair it, pain meds, and follow up appointments ended up costing right around $5k. I got him rehabbed and back to his normal self, then when we were taking a walk in August, he pulled up lame and started whimpering. Went back to the vet to find out he'd torn the opposite one this time, which is apparently common because of all the strain put on it while the other one healed. Got to do the whole thing over again for another $5k out of pocket. I don't know how much insurance would have covered, but I really wish I'd had it then.

We offered, but it was a nuisance to administer. Honestly…you are better off talking with your vet and asking them which insurance groups they accept. The biggest advantage of getting the coverage through your employer is the payroll deduction and potential buying power of grouping employees into one plan. But…if your vet does not accept that insurance, or the pre-set plan design does not meet your wants/needs, then it might not be a good fit.
Again, I would explore options directly with your vet first.
I've seen some that do offer pet insurance as part of their benefits package, and it can be a pretty sweet perk for pet parents. None for us though. The company barely even covers for us humans lol.
