I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.

Hey Friends! Looking for advice!

My wife is a Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of experience as credit manager, underwriting loans with some leading banks in India. She just got her EAD and is looking for jobs, open to switch profiles as well. Do you think she would fit in for any role here in Seattle, WA? She has been a star performer and promoted twice in the last 3 years. One problem is companies look for US experience which she does not have, we just moved here early this year.

Friends, are you ready to take the 'good person' test?

1) How many lies have you told in your lifetime?

2) How many times have you stolen anything regardless of value?

3) How many times have you looked at a person with lust?

4) How many times have you used 'Jesus' or 'Christ' in place of a flithy cuss word?

The bad news is we all fail the test. The good news is that Jesus paid the price for us, so that if we repent and trust in Him we can enter beautiful Heaven and avoid horrendous Hell.

I just can’t seem to find a company near me to apply for an underwriting entry level position. I’d rather not start in claims and work my way into underwriting but that’s my only thought process. Learned that I won't be promoted and did not get support from partners that I worked for. I feel demotivated by the fact that I have to work with the same partners and feel like they won't ever suppport me. Plus the managers I work with are credit grabbers and excludes me from meeting with partners when during the talks about promotion they said they would help me get partner exposure. Should I still stay?
