Nespresso gives you a bag to send the pods back for recycling. I like it way more than keurig that go in the trash.
Agree with the ups recycling bag process.
There are reusable pods but they are a huge pain. The pods are made of aluminum though, which is at least a little better than plastic for recycling.
Maybe consider a super-automatic espresso machine? Bigger upfront cost but savings in the long run and better tasting drinks with more flexibility.
Thanks!
Can you tell me.mkre about reusable pods? Is the pain in washing them?
I bought my sister one of the Nespresso Vertuo systems and she loved their recycling. I myself have a Nespresso, though older, and I have never had an issue with it. The bag is resealable and the old coffee smell does not leak out, and when it's full it's the easiest thing ever to drop off or schedule a pick up for (though not sure how pick up is working with COVID). A good rule of thumb is to order one or two bags with your nespresso pod purchase online. Hope this helps!
