Dreamforce- should I pay for myself?

Folks - I work remote in a mid sized town and do not get opportunities to Network.
I also wish to make a switch.
Should I make a trip to Dreamforce just to network? Unfortunately, I can be there only for the last 2 days. Is it worth nearly 4k I may spend?

Has anyone transitioned from PA to a PhD in Accounting? What is the PhD like? And how did you know it was the right decision/time?

My company is giving me a reimbursement while I go to school. It’s capped to induce me to study part time. I decided to go full time. Pay the difference out of pocket so I can graduate quicker. I have been working as a manufacturing engineer tech for 4 years without a degree but this May I will get my bachelors in Mechanical Eng. Currently making 63k a year, hourly. What should I ask for when I graduate? Living in Southern Pennsylvania.

Is it a mistake to leave PA before I make senior? I’m constantly stressed and don’t think I can make it through another busy season
