After clearing an online test for Medtronic and a technical interview, HR told me to send some documents and also shared some forms to be filled. Does that mean I got the job? :D

My firm’s holiday party is on a weekday after work. I can just wear what I’d normally wear to work for that day, right?

Completely and totally miserable at my firm and just need a space to vent because my friends are tired of hearing about it. I wish the worst part about it was the amount of work, rather than the completely toxic culture, lack of appreciation, arbitrary and back/breaking deadlines, lack of mentorship/feedback/training, and the fact that the associates act like they don’t even know each other. Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.

Rejected by HBS and GSB post interview... feeling pretty low. Was hoping I'd get one after interviewing. Not sure what I could have done differently. 750 GMAT, >3.8 GPA from top 10 UG, multiple promotions, strong recs, well-known employer. The process feels so random... I know there are so many qualified candidates and so few spots but I wish they had seen it in me.

Assuming I get into CBS/Wharton, is there that much of a difference between them to forgo scholarship money?
