I am currently working in-house and I want to move back to an agency. I have had this job for about a year. I like the people a lot, but I think the lack of “award winning work” is hurting my book/career. I should be midlevel soon, but I feel like my portfolio doesn’t reflect a lot of agency experience. I’m trying do some spec work on the side. What are some things I should be ready to confront once I go back to agency life? If there are any mid or junior level art directors feel free to DM me.

Inflation costs are killing my pipeline. Many of my deals are scaling back greatly because of their rising operating costs.

How do we overcome the inflation objection? I mean obviously the answer is to show how much value we offer, but how do we do that when all of the companies we work with barely have enough funding?

They need our services, which is at least some job security, but their scale back is greatly affecting our projections and quota attainment.

Found my dream job as a controller in my industry that I serve. only concern is I found state BOA disciplinary action from my future boss (CFO) should that bother me?

Currently have $10k in student loans and $30K in savings. Graduated in May and deciding whether or not I should pay them off. They are not accruing any interest right now, due to interest being halted on federal student loans. Some are saying student loans could be forgiven in the future. Would it make sense to write a check and pay them off now?

Hey everyone I’m a new graduate with a bs in industrial and systems engineering currently looking around for full time opportunities. One role that caught my eye is sales engineering. I wanted to ask for opinions on this career path in terms of pay and career progression. Does it have good exit opportunities? What does the career growth typically look like for this role?

Curious thoughts: What would you say puts the most pressure on insurance companies to settle cases? Upcoming trial, risk of bad faith exposure, a bad witness, a screw up pre-suit, etc?

I have an MSN with a focus in informatics. Recently got my board certification. 3.5 years experience as a nurse. 8 years total in healthcare. Becoming very frustrated with my organization and the slowness of our analysts in getting anything resolved. Feeling like I’m at a dead end and thinking about switching routes entirely. Just wanting others to share salary and location and maybe give me a little hope that you have a better team where you’re at that actually get things accomplished.

Is now not the time to take a job offer? Husband got an offer at Toast but with the economy i don’t know. His current leadership is awful. he is indispensable for his team but leadership wouldn’t hesitate to let him go (if cuts happen).
