Due to a reorg, I now report to someone who is significantly more junior than me. I was informed this arrangement could exist for up to 9 months while the company goes through a “restructuring.” This interim manager is a terrible micromanager, deeply insecure, and prone to emotional outbursts. My entire team hates her. She is “friends” with her boss / my skip level boss and he seems to protect her. Is there anything I can do in this situation, or is leaving my only option?
