Even though you may have training and/or skills to allow for work in multiple jobs, is your leadership the same or polar opposites?

As an example: your manager at J1 is totally chill and trusts you to get your work done with little to no supervision. J2's manager must have been trained by a proctologist because they won't stop with the cavity searches.

Without even thinking, we would all pick J1. Thoughts? Questions? Gifts of cash?

So, what clinic do you all go to?

I’ll start it off. I’ve been to 3:
1. RSC in San Ramon, CA
2. Spring in Oakland and SF, CA
3. SCRC in Santa Barbara, CA

I’ve also done outside monitoring at RMA in SF, CA. Multiple reasons for the many clinics if anyone is interested.

Anyone have multiple FT jobs? I'm looking about to land a new primary FT job, as my current job is very very slow, doesn't really have any projects for me, and could end at any time (with a 30 day notice).
Where there any legal issues? (The two companies area in different industries so no competition). How did you manage both? The new company knows I'm still employed, should I quit the first or keep it as long as I can manage both? Any bad vibes or feelings of unprofessionalism? TIA

I really want to get a second job but I am scared of losing my current one. Both companies are in same field, although not direct competitors so I know it’s technically “not allowed” however, this is the only way for me to get that $$ since I am not paid all that well.

Of course I won’t tell a single friend/coworker. Only my partner. And I don’t post work stuff on social media.

Realistically what are the ODDS of being caught? Is there a legal/HR process with which they could find out??

If you leave J2 and get another (new) J2, does the first J2 show up on new J2 background check? Assuming these are w2 roles. If so, how do you explain that? 🧐

The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.
