Every posting I see now lists at least 7 years of experience. Even the roles labeled mid level. How are people with five or six years supposed to make the jump.

Are there any scrum masters out there willing to take me on as a mentee? I recently received my CSM, but I know that is not enough to get a job. (1/2) I started a new job less than a month ago at a large firm with a significant pay increase. I work remotely- which is a special arrangement. They paid for my travel to their headquarters for in-person training. After interacting with my manager and some of the attorneys, I feel like I made a mistake. Manager is demeaning and rude. A bunch of the attorneys dropped not so subtle hints that people who work from home are causing all kinds of problems. I don’t know what to do.

How do find a recruiter in the legal field? Have been looking for a job for a year now and trying to transition into another practice area. Applied to more than 20 jobs and still no offers. I feel like I might need some help.

I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. Is it worth applying for a position with a firm you are directly adverse to on a matter or will conflicts definitely keep you from joining?
