I'm the sole dev here so it will fall on my shoulders regardless. They honestly believe users will have an easier time installing a third party Roku channel than doing a search on YouTube on their smart TV. Fellow introverts...can I only advance in my career if I take on a leadership role? The thought of this terrifies me. My current boss hasn't exactly given me the confidence that would reassure me that I'm leadership material. He constantly questions my design choices, which I'm able to defend.
