Thoughts on the "fake it til you make it" mentality in career growth? Regarding a Front End Developer role.

I passed the HR screen, did an interview with who would be my) supervisor and the team lead, and am now doing a coding test.

I am familiar enough with the language (React) and pushing updates to Git in order to complete the test, but I'm afraid when I do a panel with the team to review my design, I'll end up making a fool of myself.

I've never been so excited yet so nervous for a role.

I have been in management for the past 8 years and part of large corporations. I just recently joined a small organization that I have wanted to be a part of for the past 2 years, accepted the role of general manager. This organization knew that I don’t have general manager experience, no payroll experience, no experience setting prices, no purchasing experience and today, 6 days after starting, I have been asked to step down due to not being confident that I will be ready in 3 weeks…

I’ve been doing change management and communication for many years with DEI experience on the side. How do I tell my DEI story to transition to a DEI career? How do I decide what level I should apply for?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

In the interviews they precisely mentioned the role is for "SAP Solutions Architect" and not a normal SAP development role.

However, the job offer 1k less than my current company, but I thought this will be boost my growth and experience. Was my choices a smart move? Hello All, I’m a project manager but seeking to pivot into UX Research. I do have some experience but don’t have a portfolio yet. Can anyone advise if I should focus on going through a bootcamp or focus on getting a Masters in HCI? Or just building a portfolio with the experience I do have?
