A couple of recruiters reached out to me last week; I already have a possible job offer for tax manager. Should I accept or apply to other places? LinkedIn tells me there are 65 open positions for tax manager in my area. 🤯 I am in FL.

Just started at a “letter agency” under a holding company. It’s been a week and I can already tell I made a HUGE mistake leaving my old job. What do I do? Beg for my old job back? Quit and find something new? Power through for a year or two? 🤷‍♀️

How do you go about giving wedding gifts with your significant other? My boyfriend and I have been together for several years and have already gone to our fair share of weddings (mostly my family). At the beginning I always took care of the expenses (gift, hotel, etc.) since I saw him as my guest, but now I’m starting to get frustrated that I have to cover all of the cost when he is specifically invited and enjoying the experience.

How do you others value losing vacation days in a job offer? I have an offer where I’d be dropping from 30 to 20 days. Do others use your standard PTO payout and add that to your minimum acceptable salary?

I have an interview tomorrow for a real estate acquisition analyst role with the Managing Partner of a small real estate PE firm. Currently an A2 in audit and feeling a bit under-qualified. I have very little experience in RE modeling but don’t want to explicitly mention that during the interview (for obvious reasons).
