I am currently a civil engineer thinking of switching to software engineering. I got my masters in water resource engineering where I was coding a decent amount for assignments and it has really stuck with me. I got invited to a second round interview with a big company. The title sounds more senior than my current title, but the work responsibilities feel like a step down.
