I stand corrected lol.
I have heard of and met Susan before, super nice and encouraging from my experience. I have literally never heard of Fred in my life. I don’t know what that says, but I’ve been doing this for almost 30 years so I think it says something.

Fred is very involved in the work. If his name is on it I guarantee you he helped make it a lot better. He works across all the offices in the world helping the best work reach its potential and making sure that the biggest clients get the best.
Susan’s job is more if business leader. She partners with Carter to shape and guide the organization.
Rising Star
Has susan been moved aside? She is the Global CCO but he never even mentions her in any of his posts. Just ‘let’s gooooo this work is so kick ass!!’ Looks like he’s the top creative now. Also Fred’s book is online and he has work in it from FCB offices he doesn’t work in like Chicago’s gun book?

Susan once told me, “Put celebrities in it.” And then I didn’t hear the rest because I had just heard, “Put celebrities in it.”
From the outside looking in, it seems like Fred is the equivalent of what Per Pederson used to be at Grey.
Susan Credle is actually involved with the work and Fred is really just there to promote the agency and help keep all the global offices connected.

They are creative partners. Susan is the lead, but Fred helps her by being very hands on with the work. She talked about this in a podcast.
