Almost midnight here and I'm cleaning my medicine cabinet so I can reboot having a regular skin-care routine. Living 9 time zones away from home out of the US and watching the BLM movement there, unable to do anything concrete about it from here - this song I've listened to countless times, today about brought me to tears.

I grew up in a nuclear family away from extended relatives who were never really close. Parents were either emotionally unavailable or distant. All I've wanted for myself was a big loving family to call my own.. my parents are unaccepting of my sexuality & my partners family is also quite fucked up so she's isn't super close to them either. Honestly this sucks & it feels like I'll never have a huge supportive family I've wanted & craved for.

Doctor rec’s? I was in DC before and I used to go to Whitman Walker, an LGBT focused primary care clinic, clean, efficient and friendly, and they understood the LGBT needs, like PrEP, very well, which is mainly what I need from my PCP. Is there such a thing in NYC?
