Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.

Anyone know where I can find practice creative briefs?

Whew this group is a relief to find. No one at my job knows I have ADHD, and I only have one other friend with it. I manage a team of people and the stress of checking, double checking, and triple-checking everything to make sure I'm not forgetting anything or behind on anything is insane. I've kind of got the hang of keeping focus during work hours, but I'm just constantly on edge that someone will notice or I'll start falling behind.

How does one get into underwriting in the western MA area? I have an associates degree in business and 5 years of insurance experience. I just can’t seem to find a company near me to apply for an underwriting entry level position. I’d rather not start in claims and work my way into underwriting but that’s my only thought process. Anyone else kind of bored clerking? I liked law school and thought I liked research and writing, but so far this district court clerkship has been pretty boring—lots of state law issues that are poorly briefed. Though to be fair, most of my time has been spent on one big case that I’m 99% sure is going to settle but not until the eve of trial bc that’s plaintiff’s counsel’s m.o.; so my work resolving the insane number of SJ and Daubert motions seems like a waste of my time.

Just an open wide question, why companies are now recruiting more in Doha and Riyadh. Whilst they stopped hiring for Dubai. Is the market that saturated or there’s not enough projects in UAE.

I’m finishing up my MBA program this year and am looking to purchase a new watch to celebrate. Currently torn between a 15670 Explorer 2 and a Medium Cartier santos.

I’m mainly looking for a stainless steel white dial watch to add some variety to my collection (Speedy & IWC Top Gun) and am stuck on a brand new AD santos versus an older grey market Rolex.

Tangentially watch related but does anyone use a document safe at home to keep documents and watches when they won’t be worn for a while? I usually leave mine on winders in my closet but if I know I won’t be wearing some for a time (or if the cleaners are coming) it’d be nice to be able to lock them away.
