Tangentially watch related but does anyone use a document safe at home to keep documents and watches when they won’t be worn for a while? I usually leave mine on winders in my closet but if I know I won’t be wearing some for a time (or if the cleaners are coming) it’d be nice to be able to lock them away.

Venting :: I have this cousin who thinks she can just show up without calling or asking? She was unpleasant, criticised me for not cooking enough despite the fact that there were so many groceries close by, complained about me waking up at 8 am and how she hates my dogs and wish to strangle them, last time she stayed over. How much time during an 8 hour work day do you spend actually working when it’s slow?

I’m at a mid size transactional firm. I’m a total night owl and my partners have OK’d me starting the workday at around 11am because I regularly work until midnight or later. I get so much more done after dark! I still get some side eye from other associates, but 🤷🏽‍♀️
