Keep it simple. Do things like toddler programs at the library, going to the playground or even just eating out at a restaurant helps develop social skills.
You don't need them to be super social butterflies to learn social skills, just get them out and have fun.
Library time was clutch for us. Also just have your nanny take them to playgrounds. Most of the adults I’ve seen at playgrounds wear masks and socially distance. Obviously that doesn’t work for kids, but for us it’s an acceptable risk.
Dad of four. Completely agree with acn1. Additionally, if you can make the activities consistent, with the same group of kids, it will help to build relationships/friendships. The kids really start to look forward to seeing their buddies
