Has anyone here completed their divorce without lawyers? It’s amicable between both of us and we are agreeing of the separation of assets. Do I still need to get a lawyer or can I do this on my own?

Do you share details about raises/bonuses/other financial gains with friends or do you keep it to yourself? I have a few friends who will tell me everything from how much money they make to how much their husband spent on them for their bdays to how much their parents make?? To me that feels like bragging/being arrogant. It’s also the way they say it, feels very much like seeking validation to me.

I have a para/assistant teacher that just wants to argue over everything. “You’re the teacher, why do I have to assess the children during break out rooms?” We have 8 kids, and I am only asking her to do 3! On the topic of intimacy with partners… I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and the past year his libido has dropped to zero. Mostly due to work stress (he says). Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years. I’ve always been fairly anti vertical because I think it stifles ideas and thinking, but you can always have people that specialize that you pull in when having bespoke industry knowledge can help. What do others think? Do clients want this from their partners?

Have been married for 15 years and have a kid of 11 years. My spouse is falsely accusing me of domestic abuse and trying to get separated. We have had incompatibility even before marriage on various issues but it was an arranged marriage, we tried to work it out and stay together. Her side is asking her to move on. She has taken my kids passport and kept it with her. What are the options I have to defend myself?

Sadly this is where I ended up (going through divorce with 6mo infant). Abusive spouse wants shared custody when he doesn’t know a thing about taking care of an infant.. any advice would help re custody or divorce as well. We are not in speaking terms
