No one cares. Meaning just have fun up there.

Snort a bag of coke, down a bottle of Jack and have some fun with it. You’re welcome.

Old School! I love it!

Breathe, talk naturally and clear. Enjoy it. You got this.

Don’t talk too much, let the work speak for itself. Be proud they want you to share it, but be humble and let it shine on its own.

like

Use auto tune

Start with some light crowd work

Brush your teeth beforehand

Picture everyone naked. Wait. No. Just picture yourself naked. Pic… you’re the only one naked. Idk. You get it. Have fun.

You’re not presenting to a client. You’re presenting to your peers. So, it’s ok to pull back the curtain a bit, have some laughs at the process, and how you got to the work. Keep it light, especially if it’s not a serious topic.

Picture your crush in the crowd. Now don’t f up

Be enthusiastic. Talk about your work like it’s the best thing since sliced bread, show passion and lie through your teeth if you have to about how successful it was.

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Nice bowl to avoid lowering the average in the US-centric threads. Anybody else finding that with the lack of pay rises this year, it’s become even harder to benchmark? I’m an in-house designer. My company decided to offer social media marketing packages to our clients. Today they asked me to take full ownership of that outside social media marketing on top of my current job duties.

I expressed a need for a promotion or raise to compensate for the major increase in responsibility, a responsibility that is not currently in my description.

They pushed back.

Wtf do I do
