Have an offer from a really niche and small (80 people) consulting firm, SC position and total comp of 175k.(155+20)

What should I do?

Might be starting at a small agency as a full time Junior AD soon, fingers crossed. It's my first full time position since WFH began.

What do you see as most attractive exit ops in Europe? In the US, everything is about Tech/FAANG, but it seems way less attractive in Europe (less strategic roles, comp. seems much lower than in the US, very centralized around London/Dublin).

YOE: 11.5 Tech: QA Automation with Selenium-Java, BDD, API automation, Mobile Automation - Perfecto cloud, Appium All the 11 years I am with automation only. Is it possible for me to learn new technology and switch. Recently acquired AWS cloud practitioner certification which is of no use to me now as they are asking for exp. I wanted to move to devops role. But without experience no one is giving opportunity and they are considering my profile as QA only 😒

I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around. The KPIs seem achievable and I’ll be in charm school to help build support within that timeline. Most of me thinks a 2 year path under these circumstances realistic but my inner skeptic is jaded. Anything I might have missed?

I recently interviewed for a position I was excited about. I like my job but this position seemed like a great fit. I met with five different individuals including a partner. Everyone was extremely nice. I received positive signaling and found out almost a week later that I didn’t receive the position. I have absolutely no idea why. Ex-consultant now in marketing. Used to be an avid follower here and got great insights on companies when trying to exit consulting so thought I’d try here for advice. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company?
