For the past 15 years I have worked for my husband’s company as a “contractor” doing HR, office management, marketing, advertising, event planning etc. his company imports and exports automotive products and equipment and mainly works with Russia and Belarus. Due to U.S sanctions on the Russian government his business has taken major hit and I need to find employment somewhere else to help our family. When writing my resume and interviewing should I mention that this is our family business?

I’m transitioning from Art Director to UX/UI Designer. As an AD, I’ve worked on UX/UI but it wasn’t the only thing I did. I don’t know how to title myself on my resume with all my experience being an AD and/or Designer though.

Few days before of my joining date, i came to know that the technology stack from customer got changed and customer had no requirement for which i was hired. Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected.
