For those of us that work in events, how long are your major events/conferences? Especially if they are for educational purposes.

I’m working in a space where our big annual event is 5 days and I’m really pushing for it to be 3 days. If we put our minds together we can make this a more concise show, save money, and have a stronger impact. What goes on at your organizations?

98 almost 99k base salary in San Diego, CA not including the bonuses or OT… is this too low or reasonable?

Which companies are hiring adjusters that pay 70k plus base salary and allow remote work? Or anything similar that would be a good fit for an experienced adjuster?

How much can I expect?

I renegotiated my start date and it’s different from the date I signed on the offer letter. Do I need to request a revised offer letter or is the email thread with the recruiter sufficient. By the way, my background check is already in progress.

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!
