For those of you who left Accenture or consulting; did you go into industry, a startup, or something else?

Been at Accenture 5 years and I don’t think it’s worth staying anymore. I feel stuck and my growth has stalled. I feel I’ve wasted my time this past 1.5 years, taking any role cause I’m afraid of the bench.

If I leave I would have to do a lateral move at industry, but I’m also lacking deep industry or functional expertise.

I think a startup company would be better for me, any thoughts?

If you practice collections in-house, what do you earn and do you receive a bonus?

I have practiced for five years and make $121k as an employee of a financial services company. As the only attorney, I oversee all statewide collections efforts, from demand letter to garnishment, with a case volume of nearly 7k new cases per year, of which the majority I end up litigating. I receive only a $1k bonus per year. Is my compensation fair? My last insurance defense gig was $75k.
