Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. I'm still here. And I'm P1. I just got to this thread late.
I feel that I'm the only partner left :(. I need to get P2 to start posting again!
Yeah!!!!! The original P1 is back!
I feel so alone....
YOOOOO P1 and P2
P1, we always think you are cool! I'm not sure I want more partners on here. Thoughts on pros and cons?
Wonder if Pokemon-hating PWC partner is still around? I feel like we showed him a good time...

Advice for navigating office politics
SC1 - The exact comp structure varies across firms, and I don't want to get in to all the specifics as that would then be firm specific. But, the actual salary isn't that high - still plenty of course - but the vast majority of compensation is variable based on your own economic performance. The salary part is paid via normal payroll. The rest is an annual process for the most part.
OP - Perhaps it will seem like a flippant answer, but it was by convincing my fellow Partners that I was able to contribute to the firm as a Partner. So that means that I'm able to contribute to the firm's economic success, etc.
OP - As for tips, it depends on your level I guess. But unless you're close to becoming a Partner, you don't need specific tips about how to do so. Just always try to do the job of the person above you. Make them look good and free up their time to do their boss's job.
