In this economy, if it’s a job that I really want then I’ll do it. If it’s just a job where I’m like yeah I’ll take anything, then I may or may not do it depending on how busy my day is.
That's never happened to me. I do high tech. Maybe it's more normal for your area. I'd probably bail unless Google told me it was normal.
It was nearing end of the evening for me and a role I was doubting - they wanted me to put responsibilities for each prior role into their form in separate boxes and I was doing it from a phone. I put SEE ATTACHED RESUME. copy/paste wouldnt work from device and I wouldnt find time to submit anything the next day so I took the chance.
Retaking SAT when I already have a bachelor's degree from 30+ yrs ago? Holy S! I'd have to prep for that. Q: Is this for a big publicly traded company? Pls share what you can.

I think OP is referring to a more generic aptitude test that some companies administer, not the full SAT required for college.
Pro
Temple University use to make you do a 200 question survey when you applied for a job. I can't imagine how this was productive or if it was used for something else. I think they have removed that now from their intake system.
Sometimes you have to do what you have to do especially if you think the job is a match.
If you have the time, it's great practice either way. If you decide against the position, at least you are wasting some of their time as well. They must know their processes are horrible. We need to jump through their hoops if we want the role bad enough.
