I am always looking for and applying for jobs.. Even when I'm working, when I have a gap, I go stronger on applications and ask for referrals from old clients or extra work. After a while, it's second nature. What are you most concern about?
What are you most concerned about then? I thought you were looking for a job, hehe
Sure is. That's why I try to stack as many contracts at once as I can possibly handle. Even if you're hired for ongoing work, there's nothing keeping a client from dropping you at any point. The only way to protect against it is by having other jobs to fall back on.

Has there ever been a time where you took on more than your schedule can handle?
Gaps between contracts is something that happens for sure. I pretty much apply for freelance roles year round. It is the best way to keep something going so there isn't a gap.

I had a AD partner I would work with on some jobs. She could schedule breaks whenever she wanted one and always seemed to have worked when she returned from vacation. I was never than comfortable or confident enough to do that.

I’m not a free lancer but would recommend creating a little CRM which could just be a google sheet. Not know how to be comfortable in this space is why I’ve always worked in corporate jobs instead of going out in my own. How does one find work as a free lancer?
