I also do this as feeelance on the side, so where do I draw the line between who I refer to the company I work for or who I personally do freelance for? I don’t want to short out the company I work for but also love freelance and am more than capable of the work.

The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity.
