I had a HR Discussion after clearing 2 HCL rounds and 2 client interviews . HR is not considering moving above 40% hike no matter whatever I say to justify, the Discussion was like talking to a wall . Any suggestions to get another 10-15% more (first offer)? Will HR reject me stating this reason in HCL ?? FYI- Client and the project team wants to take him in as per their feedback to me and I feel i am the right person for the role too .. 9 years exp -Infra storage domain .

I relocated with my family to Ireland recently, one month ago, and while I got a lot of screening calls with recruiters, I did not hear back from any of them after our interview. Hi Fishies, I got offer at Infosys for 9.5 LPA and HCL Technologies for 10.5 LPA. My Experience is 2 years and 10 Months. Applied for data engineer role. Tech Stack is Python, SQL, Spark, Hadoop and having Good Experience in Google Cloud. Current CTC is 6 LPA at Cognizant. In culture round, I was told that I will get feedback next day, but when I reached out to HR, they said hiring manager is on a sick leave, will ger results on end of the week. I want to switch and I have a very good offer with me. However everytime I think about resigning I get scared and I’ve this slight hope of something good happening in my current org. The culture and environment in my current org is very good. However I don’t enjoy the work I’m doing here. I don’t know what exactly holds me back from switching but this issue has started affecting my mental health.

Just wanted to know if this happens with everyone while switching or am I the only one.
