Getting an offer from Deloitte for 105k as a SC on the Analytics team and 100% remote with 7k bonus. I’m currently making 85k as a SC with Booz. I hear about a lot of bad experiences with Deloitte. Are there any positives about working there? And also, what are some challenges?

I had the weirdest dream. Criminals were put in a gated community under observation and they had to successfully fake their own death to get out. They were given too many drugs and alcohol. As an immigrant who has no family or close friends in the US, I truly envy my colleagues who are able to work remote and travel within the country and see their family and friends. I always dream of working remotely outside of the US temporarily but I haven’t found an employer that allows that yet.

What do people use for writing samples? I’m 5 years out of school and a job posting asked for a writing sample. My law school sample is 7 years old and unrelated to my area of practice, and I don’t think I can use anything from my current work due to the confidential nature. Do people just make up a writing topic and write about it?
