Marmalade in Old San Juan was our favorite. No real views there, but very small and romantic place. Second best choice that has amazing views of the water from the right tables was 1919 Restaurant in the Condado Vanderbilt. The chef/owner of Marmalade was at 1919 while we dined there and sent over champagne to us when he recognized us, so that was memorable and makes me biased for Marmalade.

Try Paseo Caribe in Old San Juan, upscale place in general with lots of restaurants in front of the ocean and Condado right next to it. I was born and raised in PR so pm me if you have any specific questions.
This is proof that just because you are born somewhere doesn’t mean you know anything about what is now somewhere to go. Might as well ask cruise ship people where to go.
Kinda agree with Attorney, 90% of puertoricans couldn’t afford Vanderbilt, me included while living there so I would pay more attention to a tourist. But as far as things to do you can pm me lol
Thanks everyone. We booked a reservation for 1919, views look amazing and they have an experience package for Valentine’s evening. Looks like a curated menu. Please share any other recs on things to do, this will be my first time in PR
Will also share back thoughts after the trip for anyone wondering
