Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. I’ve usually had ok to not great managers so have never experienced this feeling before. It’s like im going through the stages of grief. Having a great leader has been like oxygen. The difference for my mental health is like night and day. I remember how my life was when I had a not great manager and I just can’t go back to that. Any words of wisdom or advice? How is SAP SDC for SAP Consultants?
I have offers from CG, IBM & SAP India. So, please suggest which will be better to join.
PS- IBM is paying100% more than my current organisation.
SAP has not released my offer yet but I had an interview with VP and he said he is impressed with me and will release the offer letter soon but they have not negotiated for my salary. But he was saying if he will give me less than IBM then will I join the SAP or not? I assumed this is a trick ques., btw, I said yes

I am getting a little impatient with a recruiter who feels like she has been ghosting me. I need to make another decision with a company by tomorrow but have not heard back from this other company since I’ve interviewed last Monday. I updated her on my timeline and she hasn’t emailed me back. I have her number from when she initially called me. Would it be bad to just give her a call?

If an employee mentions something disparaging or accusatory about their manager during an exit interview, how would you handle? What happens if what the employee said is slanderous and a “he said/she said” situation? I.e. employee claimed the manager made a disparaging remark about an item of clothing being worn by someone in accordance with their beliefs. If you opt to share the feedback with the manager, would the manager have a legal case against the company or former employee?
