What’s one area of your spiritual health that you’d like to see improved? Personally ’d like to be more disciplined in my daily Bible reading plan. Oftentimes I read through but don’t really absorb it or stop and really dive in on what I’m reading.

Deep study of the bible. I have always had surface level bible teaching fed to me thanks to preachers like Steve Furtick. I only recently realized that I’m not really Christian because I’m following the American brand of Christianity thanks to churches likes Hillsong, bethel. I came across sound teachers like Paul washer, Matt Chandler, John MacArthur, Allan parr etc, and it’s been eye opening.

It sounds like you’ve found some good teaching. But never doubt your faith if you’re a believer in Jesus Christ. If you believe the Gospel (For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. -1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And if you understand that salvation is through grace and grace alone then you are saved and no teacher can take you away from that. We are saved by grace but the fruit of salvation through the Spirit is what produces our works and sound teaching will play a big part in that.

Reading my bible AND memorizing bible versus. Very important to memorize because you never know if the Bible will ever be outlawed. I know people think that’s far fetched but if you look at other countries, Christians are being persecuted

I think challenging yourself to memorize scripture is one of the best things you can do to help yourself absorb what you are reading. It’s been really helpful for my growth.

Psalm 119:11 & Colossians 3:16 Memorizing scripture helps every aspect of life. When you find yourself in situations requiring wisdom, guidance, temptation etc. You can lean on memorized scripture to get through. Example: look at how Jesus battled temptation in the wilderness. He fought with scripture.

Could use your help. I’m reviewing a contract for a new (in-house, freelance) gig, and the following 3 things I want to counter — or at least I’m curious if these are common: 1) Non-compete for 2 years for same industry 2) Must have liability insurance for up to 2 million while there (didn’t know this existed honestly) 3) Must give 30 day notice if leaving (I’m fine with 2 weeks…but 30 days?!) …Any advice on if these are standard and how to best negotiate them?

So far I’ve been through 1 IVF cycle. I have one embryo that is frozen waiting for transfer. My doctor is wanting me to do another round of IVF to back eggs for baby number two down the road. Has anyone been through this? I know of two people around my age that got pregnant naturally with their second baby after IVF. Does anyone know about banking embryos for future use instead of transferring? My insurance doesn’t cover anything so all this of out of pocket.

I don’t own a car as I don’t need it on a daily basis and where I leave there is not a big need for it. I normally rent a car 2-4 days a month on the weekends which is much cheaper. My credit cards provide me with insurance for damage on the car but not for liability, I was thinking that getting a non-owners insurance would be better/cheaper than pay one at the rental Company every time. Any advice on this? Is it worth it? Any non-owner insurance recommendations? Thanks!!
