I think I am your interviewer. You better come prepared sonny
Wear something purple.
Look professional, make eye contact, ask them how they're doing, convey an excitement to learn and be in a team. Technical skills are secondary at this level
I’ve been here almost 3 years. Your work environment is highly dependent on your engagement manager and partner. I’ve been on engagements where I have the best manager I could ever ask for, and been on others where the manager is clueless and the partner berates the team on MS Teams calls. I’ve brought this up to HR and they do nothing about this, saying if I don’t like it I can switch engagements. I have tried switching engagements and even going from Public Sec to Commercial but PPMDs do not like it when people leave their team so will do everything in their power to keep you working for them.
Additionally, the performance review process changes on a yearly basis with very little transparency of how evaluations are actually done. GT has an abysmal 401k matching program, mediocre pay, and their healthcare options cost a lot for not terrific coverage.
