Daily exercise is great, even if it’s just a 30 minute walk outside everyday. I also recommend meditation. See if you get into a routine of 5 minutes a day, morning or night. I also think curtailing the time spent online can be helpful. Or at least try to reduce the amount of time spent reading political stuff and social media posts. There is so much negative partisanship in our political system, and our media is designed to fuel those negative emotions.
And you could also try keeping a daily journal. Write one page a day. Can be anything. The strange dream you had, venting about your parents, why you miss your ex, what you ate for breakfast, whatever. I think a journal is sort of both therapy and meditation rolled into one.
Lastly, if you want a good show to watch, give Netflix’s Bojack Horseman a try. The show is hilarious, but it also does an amazing job depicting characters who suffer from depression and deep sadness. It’s really touching but also comforting.
One more thing: If you can get your hands on mushrooms or LSD, I think microdosing is a good thing to try at some point, too.

You are normal. Don’t feel bad. Try to explain what you are going through. If they end up understanding where you are coming from, you won’t feel as much pressure.
