I’ve had 2 phone interviews so far. Last Friday I was told I’m moving forward to a video interview and portfolio review with the hiring manager. If that goes well, I assume I’m doing the loop. (Why is this process so long? 🤪) I haven’t heard back from the scheduler yet. How long does it typically take to get scheduled for a video interview and then for the loop?

Accepted what I thought was my dream role. It's unorganized, training is subpar and its very frustrating. Its a few months in and I'm over it. I have a side biz but due to my new role i have to put that in the back burner (at least until i learn to do this job efficiently). I really wanna quit and go to work for myself but I know that this is not possible at the moment. Has anyone else Accepted role that they thought was a good fit bit now are questioning their decision a few months in?

I've been a yeild analyst at a big publisher the last 8 months. I'm taking on work beyond me role and excelling. I love my workplace and team, and this place sets me up for the career trajectory I want.
Another offer fell into my lap recently, 20% more pay, better benefits, 100% remote, and I'd get experience trading. Despite only having 8 months of programmatic and some media buying down, I was offered a senior role, that I don't feel I know enough to be effective at. Am I overthinking this?

In B2B tech sales, how much control does an AE really have?
There are so many people involved in the sales process (SDR, AE, tech engineers, etc..) and so many different people involved on the buying side, it’s hard to put the win or loss on any one person! Please enlighten me!

How do I push back to a SM that wants me to be in charge of everything? I was recently interviewed for a position at PayTM for DevOps Engineer, and was required to solve a simple search DS/Algo question on Python. After that, I was asked to optimise it's complexity and talk on it further. The interview revolved around using operators (not covered by a standard CKA exam afaik), dangling images reaping automation and ACL/SG on AWS. Just wanted to know if this is an expected format of interview for this position, since it was my first one! YOE = 2

What are exits for Technical Program Management? I’m hoping the role would give me more exposure to SWE, product management, product strategy, to decide from there what avenue I want to go in afterward. Obviously SWE is a different skill set (I have a bit of a coding background and am ambitious about doubling down there IF that’s what I want), but would you say TPM could be a stepping stone to product management or product strategy roles?

Honestly in Industry now, I can honestly say B4 over tuned my skills. I find that I absorb information faster than my peers and my deliverable time is quicker.

Fixed is almost same however Accenture is giving more variable.

Had a call with a founder. Told me they wanted me to connect with rest of their team. Then silence. Followed up a few days later. Immediate response but now another week of silence. I often tend to slide towards individual contributor roles but want to learn project, team management now.

Does there come a time when it’s too late to be client-facing or the barrier is too high? How do you get that experience if you don’t have much of it?
