Which part of the world are y’all from?
Me. Every single day. Since I started practicing.

Guess work must wait.

Still silly, LitG!

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.
No promotion for me...time to quit!

I would. Either call it a career break or do something pro bono or something entrepreneurial for like 4 hours a week so you have something on your resume
Yeah take a break to mentally reset and travel

Take break from what? He was on bench for months.
🤣 kidding

LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!
Post updates so we can live vicariously.
Apply for jobs while you’re traveling. Budget more serious time for the peak job hunting periods (September, January) and more fun time in the others (nov dec). Tbh you might find that you’ll get bored after 3 mos. I did. Find a project to keep you busy as well on your other down time
I’d also invest the majority of that money. If you don’t know what you’re doing, DCA into the stock market slowly while keeping the rest in something like a money market etf
Travel for a bit. Life is too short— enjoy!
Buy a small boring business. With a $150k down you will be able to purchase a business up to $1.5M in price tag that will typically generate $450k in EBITDA. Then go on a world tour.

Whatever you do, don’t be like me and put most of it in PLTR at the high.
Just keep buying. In 5 years you’ll thank yourself.

Seems like a real, unique, opportunity. Go!
I had something a bit similar. Traveled longer than I should have really in this market. Echo above to definitely be prepared to apply, bring a suit jacket with you for interviews, etc. Solo traveling is a lot more expensive in certain areas and it can start to drain quick over time.
But 3-6 months is a perfect sweet spot imo.
