Got promoted from Senior to Lead last month. Title updated in the system immediately. Salary? Still at $78k with a "we'll revisit at mid-year review" promise.
I've seen this play out before - the title comes fast, the money comes slow (or never). Meanwhile I'm already doing Lead-level work at Senior pay.
Do you push back immediately or give them the 6 months? Has anyone successfully accelerated a promised comp adjustment? What's the move here?
